In addition, other websites with good backlink profiles are also becoming more common in AI search results from Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google AI Overviews.
What is the cost of a backlink?
The average price of a quality manual link-building campaign begins at around $150 per link for DR 30 to 50. DR 70 and above run $300 to $500+ per link, and less than $30 is always a PBN or link farm, which is a link that is good for a few months and then becomes a liability.
When will I see results?
Individual links go live within 2-3 weeks. Typical ranking movement will occur in 60-90 days after a sustained campaign. It takes longer according to competitive niches with established websites. Link building is not a quick procedure, but the effects of the links last longer than paid traffic.
What is the difference between DR and DA?
DR is Ahrefs’ Domain Rating. DA is Moz’s Domain Authority. Both measure the strength of a domain through backlinks and are not Google metrics. When screening publishers, we use both, but give more preference to organic traffic than either of these scores because a high DR site with no real traffic passes very little SEO value.
Can I approve the sites before you pitch them?
On Growth and Authority plans, you’ll get a publisher shortlist before we write or pitch anything. You can mark any sites to be avoided, and we will remove them. Starter orders are placed through our niche matching process and do not require pre-approval.
Do you work with agencies on a white-label basis?
Yes. All reports are custom-branded with your agency’s logo. We don’t show up on any document, email, or communication your client sees. For agencies with multiple campaigns running at the same time, volume discounts and shared dashboards are available.
Do you build do-follow or no-follow links?
The typical placements are do-follow editorial links in the body content. Both are part of a natural backlink profile. If you are looking for a specific ratio or for no-follow placements, please specify this in your short brief, and we will comply with your request.
Should you disavow toxic backlinks yourself?
Only if there’s clear evidence of harm or a manual action. Google’s algorithms generally ignore low-quality links on their own, so disavowing preemptively can be unnecessary. e applied in most competitive niches. The risk comes from the method, not the concept.
